Today is the first anniversary of the day Jessie and I met in person.  One year ago today, Jessie took a leap of faith and drove to Fairfield to meet a guy she'd previously only exchanged emails and phone calls with, and the phone calls only lasted a few minutes at a time. 

After that day, the phone calls regularly lasted over an hour, and we both drove a lot of miles to visit each other every few weeks.  Four months later we agreed to get married; on our six-month anniversary we formally proposed and exchanged rings, and less than a year after that day we bought a house together.

I love you more each day, Jessie!
